DevOps - UX Research Case Study
This case study explores the user research, design strategy, and leadership role I played in revamping a complex feature. The original feature, used by Development Managers, lacked clarity and functionality, leading to frustration and wasted time.

Problem
For a Development manager, Knowing his/her teams performance in a DevOps cycle is a crucial information, So that user can focus on improving the delivery process of the team.
A Development Manager can not take any decision to improve the teams performance and organizational process for an effective Delivery Management.

My Role
-
Facilitated user research and workshop with stakeholders
-
Presented user research findings and insights to stakeholders, influencing strategic design decisions and ensuring a user-focused approach.
-
Utilized my design expertise to translate user research findings into actionable recommendations, influencing key strategic decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Goals
-
Improve user satisfaction and task completion speed with the dashboard.
-
Increase user confidence in the data presented.
-
Enhance the overall usability and visual hierarchy of the interface.
User Research
Methodology:
We conducted a combination of user interviews, usability testing with prototypes, and surveys. We targeted marketing analysts across different departments to gather diverse perspectives.
Key Findings:
Users felt overwhelmed by the lack of information and struggled to find specific data points.
Inconsistent data visualizations and unclear terminology caused confusion.
The lack of drill-down capabilities limited deeper analysis.

Initial Design
Design Strategy & Leadership
Prioritization & User Flows:
I facilitated workshops with stakeholders and developers to prioritize features based on user needs and technical feasibility. We also mapped user flows to identify key interaction points and optimize the overall user journey.
Information Architecture & Visual Design:
Leading the design team, we restructured the information architecture for better organization and clarity. We implemented a clean and consistent visual design with clear data visualizations and interactive elements.
Collaboration & Iteration:
Throughout the process, I ensured clear communication and collaboration between the design team, developers, and stakeholders. We conducted iterative testing with high-fidelity prototypes, incorporating user feedback to refine the design.
Results & Impact
